Multi-turn industrial and explosion-proof electric actuators

Electric actuators are designed for remote and local control of valves and allow for the following:

• closing and opening the valve passage from the control panel by pressing the start buttons and stopping the valve's shut-off device in any intermediate position by pressing the "stop" button;
• automatic shutdown of the electric motor by the torque-limiting clutch when the specified torque is reached on the output shaft in the "closed" or "open" positions or in case of emergency jamming of moving parts during the closing or opening process;
• signaling on the control panel of the extreme positions of the valve's shut-off device and the activation of the torque-limiting clutch;
• automatic shutdown of the electric motor by limit switches when the valve's shut-off device reaches the extreme positions;
• local indication of the extreme and intermediate positions of the valve's shut-off device on the scale of the local indicator;
• remote indication of the degree of valve opening on the control panel (if equipped with a position sensor);
• automatic switching of the actuator from manual control to electric or independent manual and electric control;
• electrical interlocking of the actuator with the operation of other mechanisms and units;

Multi-turn electric actuators for general purposes are used for equipping industrial pipeline valves installed indoors, under canopies, and outdoors.

Explosion-proof electric actuators can be installed in hazardous areas of indoor and outdoor installations in accordance with their explosion protection marking.

Electric actuators consist of the following main components and parts: an electric motor, a gearbox, a torque-limiting clutch assembly, a limit switch assembly, a manual override assembly with a handwheel, an output shaft with cams or a square for connection to the valve's shut-off element, and housing parts.
