Butterfly valve with galvanized disc and EPDM seal Pn 16

Cast iron butterfly valves with a galvanized disc and a pressure rating of 1.6 MPa (16 kg/cm2) are designed for pipelines that transport water at temperatures up to 80°C. The main advantages of butterfly valves are their small size and low construction length, which makes them cheaper than similar types of valves. The simplicity of their design and the small number of parts can also be considered as advantages. The main disadvantage is that when the disc in the "Open" position, it is located in the passage of the body and may impair the hydraulic performance of the pipeline. Rubber based on EPDM (ethylene-propylene rubber) is used as a sealing material.
