Cast iron, wafer type Butterfly valves with stainless steel disc PN 16 are a type of pipeline valves, where the closing element is in the form of a disc that rotates around its axis. This allows the valve to transition from the "open" to the "closed" position by turning 90°.
Installation
Butterfly valves with NBR sealing are installed between flat flanges without the need for additional gaskets, simplifying the installation and removal process.
NBR Sealing
- Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is oil- and gasoline-resistant rubber.
- Resistant to the effects of mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats, propane, butane, and gasoline.
- Can operate in a temperature range from -30°C to +80°C.
