Paronite is a pressed material consisting of a mixture of asbestos fibers (40-80%), rubber (10-18%), and fillers (e.g., graphite, kaolin, or barite). This material is produced by rolling under high pressure and temperature, followed by vulcanization. The result is a flexible and durable sheet material used to manufacture gaskets of various shapes and thicknesses.

Paronite gaskets are widely used in water supply, heating, and gas supply systems to seal flange connections. They withstand a wide temperature range, making them suitable for use in both low-temperature conditions (e.g., in cold regions) and high-temperature environments.

Advantages of Paronite Gaskets

  1. High heat resistance (-60°C to +450°C).
  2. Durability – service life of up to 15 years with proper use.
  3. Easy installation.
  4. Cost-effectiveness – affordable compared to alternative materials.
