Fully welded full-bore flanged ball valves PN 40 are a modern and reliable solution for shutting off the flow of liquid and gaseous media in industrial and municipal pipeline systems. Thanks to the monolithic fully welded carbon steel body, the risk of external leakage through the housing is eliminated, and high strength under bending loads or pipeline vibrations is ensured.
This series is designed in a full-bore version, meaning the internal diameter of the ball matches the pipeline diameter. This minimizes hydraulic resistance, prevents pressure drop in the system, and reduces wear of internal parts at high flow speeds.
Design features and materials
- Fully welded body: Made of high-quality structural steel 20 (20#), providing resistance to mechanical deformation and durability.
- Shut-off ball: Manufactured from stainless steel SS304, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and smooth rotation.
- Stem: Made of corrosion-resistant steel 2Cr13 and equipped with sliding bearings made of SS304 + PTFE.
- Reinforced sealing: The ball seat is made of PTFE with carbon graphite (PTFE + C), and the stem unit uses fluororubber rings VITON (FKM). This guarantees Class “A” tightness and smooth operation.
The valves are intended for use in heating systems, hot and cold water supply, technological lines of oil refining, chemical and food industries, as well as in natural gas metering and distribution units.
