Dual-plate wafer check valve Pn 16

Cast iron double-leaf check valves, wafer type, PN 16 are designed to prevent backflow of the working medium in pipelines. They are used in heat and water supply systems, as well as in the chemical and other industries. The working medium can be hot and cold water, as well as other non-aggressive liquids at temperatures up to 120°C. The main function of double-leaf valves is to ensure the movement of the medium in only one direction, preventing backflow, which can cause damage to equipment or disruption of the technological process.

Design

The valves consist of a body made of cast iron and two flaps (plates), which are also made of cast iron with a protective coating. The spring and hinge axis are made of stainless steel, which ensures durability and corrosion resistance.

Installation and operation

Installation of double-leaf valves is carried out by installing them between two flanges on the pipeline. The direction of the flow of the working medium must coincide with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.
